You never hear worldly people talk much about their objection to the holy scriptures of Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, or even Islam. That’s because God’s holy Word has power that these other sacred writings do not possess. You can read all of them and never feel convicted, but you cannot read John 3:16 without knowing it was meant for you. Perhaps that’s why whenever the Bible is quoted, some people get all upset and want to blame you for being insulted.
